The typical OBS scene has a dozen image sources stacked on top of each other — webcam border, logo, social handles, sponsor logo, alert box. Every time you change one graphic you reopen the source, reimport the file, realign it, and pray it matches across all your scenes.

Does the browser source use a lot of CPU or memory in OBS?
